One of our favorite recent openings in the Northern capital, the small tearoom Rustic & Blue (086-654-7178. Open daily 8am-midnight), has found new digs, just around the corner on Nimmanhaemin Soi 7. Naturally, the place is still very big on rustic décor, with a gleaming oakwood table, hanging plants and black steel shelving. There are even tiny chairs made from hay bales out front. More impressive than the façade is the menu, which is focused on local produce and all-day breakfast. We love the photogenic gluten-free chickpea crust pizza (B265), and craft beer and cocktails. Also, grab some home-grown, organic vegetables like heirloom tomato (B65/kg), baby carrots (B55/kg) and kohlrabi (B60/kg), as well as aromatic herbal teas, to take back home.
