Meat Bar 31 is a new steakhouse that serves a variety of premium cuts from the US, Japan, Australia and Argentinian prepared by owner Itthi Voranate, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef who used to cook in Chef Alain Roux's kitchen of 3-star Michelin The Waterside Inn's in Bray, UK and the main guy behind an up-and-coming Chinese cafe Lhong Tou in Chinatown.
The highlight has to be the Australian grain-fed tomahawk steak (B2,950), a 1kg bone-in rib cut which serves at least three. Other picks are the wide selection of charcuterie and cheese (B89/100g) and lobster mac’n cheese (B420).
Dessert include a cup of Lychee Rose Parfait (B160), while drinks range from Passion fruit Old Town Mocktail (B160) and coffee (from B85) to French house wine (from B200/a glass, B980/a bottle).
