Opened in 1998, La Baguette, the lovely all-white French-style patisserie and cafe in Pattaya, has just launched a branch in Bangkok.
Like the original, the new Emquartier shop rolls out homemade treats such as almond croissant (B80), banana chocolate crepe (B210), cannelles (B40), waffle sundae (B190), strawberry tart (B140) and croissant croque monsieur (B260).
There’s plenty to please Thai palates but, to be fair, there are also classics like pain au chocolat (B60) and plain baguette (small, B25; large, B80).
