Well, last weekend’s Halloween celebrations were a bit much, so this week Bangkok is going to play it chill. Psyche!

Nope, it’s like last weekend didn’t happen, because Bangkok is back in the saddle. On the live music front, you’ve got Yves, Baby Monster, a Kid in Red album launch party, and plenty more.

There’s also a truffle feast, a BBQ buffet with jazz, and even an encore showing of the Rocky Horror Improv Show down at Comedy Club Bangkok.

Whether you’re looking for a little more Day of the Dead or ready to start your Diwali celebrations, this weekend will be another banger.

Thu

Day of the Dead

Get into the spooky spirit with a Day of the Dead celebration at El Santo Mexican Restaurant, teaming up with Thai storyteller Kru Tri for an evening of spine-tingling tales. Five professional storytellers will take turns sharing five chilling stories, making this a rather different way to spend Thursday night. Guests can also get into the spirit of the occasion with complimentary face painting, while one lucky attendee will walk away with a B1,000 dining voucher.

Skyline x Descend

Bangkok's underground dance scene gets a new addition as Descend makes its city debut with Skyline Entertainment at Apt 101. Expect a late-night session dedicated to house, tech house and underground sounds, with an intimate dancefloor, immersive lighting and extended DJ sets designed to keep the energy building. Early-bird tickets start at THB 300, including a welcome drink.

Tigers Jaw

American emo-punk favourites Tigers Jaw are finally making their Bangkok debut. Joining them as special guests are local acts SINGDVNCEFIST and MURRPH, rounding out a bill worth catching for fans of the emo and indie-punk scene. Whether you've followed Tigers Jaw for years or are discovering them for the first time, this is one for the gig calendar. Tickets start at B1,800.

The White Truffle Journey

A meeting of Italian culinary heavyweights awaits at Embassy Room La Marina, where the team joins forces with the two-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio Shanghai for two exclusive evenings dedicated to white truffles. Michelin Young Chef 2025 Leonardo joins Chef Alessio to create a four-hands menu celebrating the season's prized ingredient, bringing together Italian craftsmanship, exceptional produce and plenty of aromatic truffle.

Expect soulful vocals, infectious melodies and plenty of singalong moments as the two acts share the spotlight. If you missed the first round, here's your chance to catch the rematch.

Royal Barge Procession

A spectacular slice of Thai royal heritage will take to the Chao Phraya River this Friday, as 52 intricately decorated royal barges make their way from Wasukri Pier to Wat Arun for the Royal Kathin Ceremony. Crewed by 2,200 Royal Thai Navy personnel, the procession is one of the country's most significant ceremonial traditions. Find a spot along the river between Krung Thon Bridge and Wat Arun to catch the historic spectacle.

It's just a jump to the left... and a whole lot of unscripted comedy. If you missed it on Halloween, the cult musical gets a hilarious makeover as The Comedy Club Bangkok brings back its Rocky Horror-inspired improv show, complete with iconic numbers including Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite. Led by Bangkok's own Frank-N-Furter, Chris Wegoda, expect outrageous characters, audience suggestions and plenty of gloriously camp chaos.
