Saneha gin takes inspiration from the forests of Kanchanaburi

Inspired by the forests of Kanchanaburi, Saneha has introduced Sanctuary, a limited-edition Forest Thai Dry Gin created in collaboration with OurLand, a conservation initiative dedicated to protecting wildlife habitats and elephant corridors. With just 2,000 bottles released for summer 2026, this distinctive expression brings a sense of Thailand’s natural landscape to the craft of gin-making.

Made from organic Thai rice and distilled in a French copper still, Sanctuary combines traditional Thai herbal wisdom with carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, litsea cubeba, galangal, ginger, green cardamom, clove, and cinnamon. At 40% ABV, it opens with bright lemon-pepper notes before developing into piney juniper, earthy galangal and ginger, finishing with warming cardamom and fragrant cinnamon.

The collaboration reflects a shared appreciation for Thailand’s forests and the importance of elephant conservation. For a simple serve, Saneha recommends pairing the gin with tonic and a gently torched cinnamon stick.

Saneha Sanctuary is available at premium retailers, duty-free shops, leading cocktail bars and luxury hotels across Thailand.
