Here’s why Piscari stands out among Bangkok’s rooftop restaurants
30 July, 2026 Bangkok time

Inspired by the breezy Mediterranean, Piscari brings coastal simplicity and sensory richness to the heart of Bangkok. Simultaneously classy and laid-back, guests are invited to enjoy any occasions guided by the philosophy "Live Daily Life with Spirit." Piscari serves up sharing-style coastal cuisine and refreshing, handpicked drinks, but it stands out from the rooftop crowd.

1.   THE FOOD

Culinary creations offered at Piscari are served as sharing-style coastal cuisine straight from the Mediterranean. The atmosphere, the service, and the food are all very approachable. Led by French chef Marc Vasseur, the menu embraces fresh, high-quality ingredients and simply crafted flavors.

For starters, hamachi crudo (B420) opens the experience with tender white fish and subtle, refreshing notes of beetroot and raspberry. Cured ocean trout (B480) offers a more distinctive flavor, complemented by charred orange and dill oil, and the corn and pomegranate salad (B310) feels garden-fresh with crunchy red endives.

The mains are a great chance to explore. From carbohydrate-forward dishes like clam cavatelli pasta (B580), to protein-packed fare like charcoal grilled Australian rib-eye (B1,680) served with Padrón pepper, french fries, and béarnaise, be sure to try more than one. Not to be missed are seafood offerings like grilled tiger prawn (5 pcs at B360/10 pcs at B680) with fennel and orange or grilled octopus leg (B680) with spiced potato espuma and chorizo. They stay true to the restaurant's ethos of bringing out the best flavors of each ingredient.

Piscari's dessert game is also quite strong. Again, simple but special. Among the most recommended are 70% chocolate mousse with biscotti (B390) and pistachio mille-feuille (B390).

2.   THE BARS

The Piscari venue boasts two bars. And we say two so please continue reading for a surprise. First, the main space at the front is an aperitivo space—a ritual of slowing down and transitioning into relaxation through conversation, with vibrant music by a live DJ in the background. The bar promotes interaction with the mixologists while unwinding with a cooling beverage, from handpicked wines to creative cocktails. The signature concoctions here are designed around the philosophy of Aperitivo. To keep the night going, Piscari's speakeasy, with a design inspired by the enigmatic Blue Grotto, is a great spot for spicier gossip and deep talks after the night falls.

3.   THE UNBEATABLE VIEWS WITHOUT HEAT

Rooftop bars are mostly open-air, which is obviously part of their unique charm. That’s great but Bangkok's evening heat can be intense, and the weather sometimes doesn’t play along. At Piscari, you can have the best of both worlds: indoor seating that feels close to the horizon, and an outdoor terrace to take in the alfresco experience.

Located on the 23rd floor of Andaz One Bangkok, the views are unique, especially during sunset, when the sun disappears behind the nearby skyscrapers with lush Lumphini Park in the foreground. As the sky changes colors, white wine flows, and it’s a special celebration without too much formality.

4.   THE PRIVATE PARTIES

If you're planning something more private, Piscari has two exclusive spaces designed for intimate celebrations. There's a private dining room for up to 14 guests, complete with sweeping city views stretching toward the Chao Phraya River—perfect for birthday dinners, special occasions, or a quiet gathering with family and friends. For bigger celebrations, the Party Room accommodates up to 24 guests and pairs close-up skyline views with a lively, intimate atmosphere. The space can also be connected to a speakeasy bar, making it easy to keep the party going without ever leaving the room.

Piscari is more than just another rooftop restaurant. It is a destination designed around thoughtful sensory experiences that don’t overwhelm, inviting guests to slow down, unwind, and celebrate life—even on the most ordinary of days.
