Three years after his tragic death, pioneering Thai graffiti artist Mamafaka (real name Pharuephon Mukdasanit) has got a gallery in his memory.

Run by his family in his hometown of Khon Kaen, Mamafaka Gallery (www.fb.com/MMFKstudio) features a street-inspired space designed by Studio Mahutsachan—think old-school gray floor tiles and a perforated concrete façade that lets in plenty of light.

The center of attention, of course, is Mamafaka’s varied works, from skate decks, miniatures and screen prints to a Vespa. There’s also a room that depict the artist’s old workspace.

The plan is to show only Mamafaka’s work for six months before allowing other emerging artists to exhibit in the space.

The gallery opens Tue-Sun from 11am-6pm.
