Well, the US got a bee in its bonnet and now everyone’s Songkran travel plans are up in the air. But buck up. This is Bangkok. We’ve had weirder Songkrans. No coups, no plagues—we’re practically blessed. And, of course, this is a time for lighter traffic in the downtown area, so we’re pretty stoked.
As everyone knows, ‘tis the season for music festivals all around the city, and we’ve got everything from S20 (and their sister K20) to Siam Songkran Music Festival.
If you want to get really wet, well, there’s nothing better than a pool party as the city’s hotels bring out the water guns and DJs in force for late night parties.
With everything from meal deals to local hipster events, we’re off to a good start. But, remember to check in every Friday with BK while we expand our list as more are announced.
KYVO 004 - Phoenix - Apr 10-11
If you’re hearing about this now, you’ve left it kind of late—but tickets are still available. Up on the helipad at River City, you can expect fire and water, incredible views, the unveiling of Fire Cube F02, pyrotechnics, and more, along with food stalls to keep you fueled for more dancing. Attention shoppers, If you’re out for a good family time, this one starts in early April so that you can get in plenty of water gun action for the little ones and plenty of shopping for the big kids. More info here.
S2S Songkran Fest - Apr 10-15
And so it begins, the festivals kick off in earnest with S2S Songkran Fest, which is sure to be a big affair for Thailand music lovers. At The Street Ratchada, you’ll find the likes of Milli and Lamyai playing to packed crowds. More info here.
Splash to Space - Apr 10-15
Going from Friday and continuing through Wednesday, RCA is back again with the water fight, international artists, gourmet food, and more. Every single day has a unique lineup. space themed this year. We’re not sure why, but Monday and Tuesday are the main days, with Australian FDJ duo NERVO and the Jersey Club king headlining the next day.
Champagne Bubble Party: Songkran Skyline Special - Apr 11-15
On the 59th floor, CRU Champagne Bar will have an evening of tunes, bubbles and skyline views. The event runs for the whole holiday and will be available from 5pm-1am atop the Centara Grand at CentralWorld. More info here.
Songkran MadStash Pool Party - Apr 11
If there’s one pool party to really catch, it’s always the MadStash pool party. Held at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit, this is a one-day event that will run early from 2-9pm, and you can expect tech house, melodic techno, and Bangkok’s hottest partiers. More info here.
RGB Songkran Party - Apr 11
Well, we all needed a Street Fighter cosplay themed event. At So Bangkok, a hotel that knows how to party, DJ Sakalem will be playing for the packed crowds from 9pm-until late. This “Street Battle” is a must-try for Bangkok’s LGBTQ+ crews. More info here.
S02 Songkran Music Festival - Apr 11-13
If there’s a big one, this is the big one. This annual festival is the heart of the festivals during Songkran. Get your tickets now for what’s billed as the “World’s Wettest Party”. Held at S20 Land, prepare to get wet with some of the world’s hottest DJs. More info here.
Unique Water Fest 2026 - Apr 11-16
From Apr 11-16, there’s another in the long list of music festivals hitting the city with a bang. This one is filled with domestic Thai acts and will be playing Bangkok for the entire holiday and a little bit beyond. More info here.
Siam Songkran Music Festival - Apr 11-14
Siam Songkran Music Festival is the “other” big annual EDM festival held in Bangkok for Songkran. It’s running from Apr 11-14 April, and you’ll find international and Thai DJs across genres. This is a huge production, with visual effects, water cannons and everything we’ve come to expect from one of the largest Songkran festivals.
CDS Songkran - Apr 12
Cul De Sac has become the hot, fashionable place to party since it opened, and they’re throwing a Songkran bash for the 12th and 13th from 4pm-2am—one for you folks who want to stay out late. Expect a free drink when you pay to enter and a live BBQ station. More info here.
Ale House Songkran - Apr 12
Millennium Hilton Bangkok’s Ale House will have a party starting at 9pm and going to midnight with games, live DJs, and plenty of activities. The dress code for this one is “Thai modern and denim—dress to impress and get a free drink. More info here.
Songkran Pool Party at Centara Grand - Apr 12
Billed as the largest pool party in Bangkok for Songkran, the Centara Grand event will feature plenty of splashing, hot music, and activities. Expect there to be VIP areas, sunbeds, and open-air party areas. This one goes from 3-10pm and will have DJs playing throughout the event. More info here.
Songkran Pool Party - Apr 12
It’s the season for the pool party, as everyone knows, and this one at Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, kicking off at 3pm, will feature an eight-DJ line-up, and you should get in for happy hour for BOGO drinks. More info here.
Songkran: Savanna Splash 2026 - Apr 12 - 14
Big DJ talent, a five-meter slide, and a party that goes from 11am-9pm. At Mahanakhon Square, B100 gets you into this downtown party with plenty of wet and wild events on their “savanna playground”. More info here.
Silom Edge Songkran 2026 - Apr 12-14
This isn’t a hard one. You know what this area is like for Songkran, so get stuck in. Festivities usually get started at 1pm and are scheduled through 8pm at Silom Edge. Brink water guns, or be gunned down. More info here.
Songkran Siam Square - Apr 12-15
Dozens of acts are descending on Siam Square from Apr 12-15. This is a free entry event and is sure to be family friendly. Every day, the festivities go from 11am to 10pm, and when you’re done, you’re still in the heart of the action. More info here.
MADWET - Apr 13
Mad Stash are at it again this Songkran, this time with a mad party going very late from noon to 3am at Tribe Sky Beach club. B600 gets you in the door for a gig from one of Bangkok’s best party and tunes organizers. More info here.
Vinyl When Wet - Apr 13
Culture Cafe has been all about the music lately, and there’s no cover at this Songkran event, featuring minimal and techno tunes with local DJs tearing up the spot with vinyl. More info here.
Spanish Heat Bangkok - Songkran Edition - Apr 13
Who says you can’t mix Songkran and Raggaeton? Well, Pink nightclub will be doing just that with a Songkran edition at their spot starting at 10:30pm with reggae and Latin beats. This party goes late, so be ready to dance. More info here.
Songkran at the Warehouse - Apr 13
The Warehouse has been at the heart of so many Bangkok events over the last year, and for Songkran they’re putting on a 13-hour show with live acts and DJs as well as plenty of vendors from around the city to keep you full. More info here.
Songkran Splash Away Pool Party - Apr 13-14
W knows how to party, and for Songkran they have a two day tropical pool party for the city’s hottest ravers to come from 2pm to 9pm. Expect the Innerbloom DJ crew, featuring DJ Groove, DJ Bryanna, DJ Alpha and more. More info here.
Songkran Pool Party at Shangri-La - Apr 13-14
If you want to get wet and do all the Songkran stuff while still being hi-so, hit up the plush Shangri-la for a two-day party that includes special festival dishes, games and play areas, a mobile bar, and DJs. More info here.
Songkran Bangkok Festival 2026 at Chapter Market - Apr 13-15
Chapter Market is putting on a full-on culture and community event for a three-day celebration. Of course, there will be some splashing going on, but you’ll also get the likes of lotus petal folding, somtam making, morlam performances, and traditional Thai games. More info here.
Bafros Songkran Heatwave - Apr 13-15
This is one if you’re looking to stay (relatively) dry. Bafros will have a three day party with Afrobeats, Reggaeton, Amapiano, and Soca. The doors open at 10pm each night, and come ready to dance. More info here.
Splash On, Spritz On Songkran - Apr 13-14
Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok is absolutely on fire lately—the Bar.Yard revamp, Chilli Fest last week, and now they’re going for a two-day Splash On, Spritz On Songkran event with Aperol Spritz. A day-to-dusk party from Apr 13-14 at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, this event will take place from noon to 9pm, and patrons can expect refreshing cocktails for the Bangkok heat, including Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Bulldog gin tonic, Skyy highball, and Wild Turkey highball—all at B250. Yes, that’s right, a K20, not S20, will be hitting Bangkok for Songkran. Held at S2O Land and coming from the organizers behind the city’s biggest festival, this one will come from a hot new-generation K-pop artists. Yes, it will be wet. More info here.
