With such a nasty weekend behind us, we’re looking to music. Whether you’re looking to headbang at Speakerbox, dance at Siwilai, or chill to island vibes at Bangkok Island, this is a good weekend to be in Bangkok.
As ever, we have plenty of interesting happenings, including new comedy, wild walks, a farmers’ market, and even some pilates.
We live in Bangkok, so we know that the climate is our enemy. It’s the first weekend of October, so we’re going out to party, regardless of the rain. We are not afraid of you, sky.
Thu
Afro Jam Dance Camp Vol.5
Asia’s biggest Afro dance camp returns to Bangkok for its fifth edition, bringing four days of workshops, battles, cyphers, talks, showcases and parties. The opening day kicks off at 10:30am with registration at DONKI Mall, before the programme moves to The Street Ratchada for the remaining three days. Expect international teachers, African street-dance styles and plenty of chances to get moving.
Couch Comedy Night
Get off the couch and onto one: Couch Comedy Night brings an international stand-up lineup to the upstairs room at Sababa. The night features Pule, Daniel Kirienko and Harvey Walden, plus surprise guests, with doors opening at 8pm and the show starting at 8:30pm. Your ticket also includes a first drink.
Razorback and The Tarantinos
Head to Speakerbox this Thursday for a high-voltage rock and roll night built around raw guitar energy and heavy live grooves. These are two bands this city knows well, and Speakerbox is fresh off a win at this year’s BAD Awards for Best Live Music Bar, so head down at 8pm to see what all the fuss is about.

Yami Core
Head to The Warehouse Bangkok this weekend where they’ll be having a massive party for all you tech heads out there. Four DJs will be playing hard style, techno, and hardcore starting at 9pm. Tickets are on sale now for B300 or at the door for B350.
Dr. Dunks Groovers
Starting at 9pm, New York underground mainstay Dr. Dunks (Eric Duncan) heads to Bangkok for the ninth edition of Siwilai Soundsystem. A co-founder of Rub-N-Tug and Still Going, Duncan has spent three decades digging through disco, house, funk and Balearic grooves, with Bangkok selectors Dragonexistforyou and Kunanonkijyan joining him on the night.
Island Vibes
Trade the club for the Chao Phraya as Island Vibes brings a night of deep grooves, organic rhythms and eclectic electronic sounds aboard Bangkok Island. Oslo-born, Bangkok-based ELILA.B joins Koh Phangan veteran Tino Moreno and Canadian DJ Angelika for a sunset-to-late session on the river. Tickets ฿300 online, ฿400 at the door.
General Levy
Jungleist massive, bruv. At Bloq, Irie Tingz will host the legendary General Levy on Friday. Expect the UK Jungle and Drum & Bass master to be tearing up the dance floor with support from four local acts and live electric violin by Champ Violin.

Cloud 40
Head to Bar.Yard for CLOUD 40, a night of music and late-night dancing. Expect a lineup of electronic selectors taking over Bangkok’s Best Rooftop Bar. And that’s not just our opinion. Bar.Yard took home the Best Rooftop Bar award at this year’s BAD Awards, and it seems no one can stop them.
Milli
Thailand’s own rap queen Milli is returning to the spotlight with her solo "JAA EHH! Asia Tour" on October 3 at Samyan Mitrtown Hall. Known for her blazing fast flow and unapologetic stage presence, the homegrown pioneer will showcase tracks from her brand-new 13-song studio album. Backed by stunning visual design and relentless energy, this hometown spectacle is set to celebrate her status as a global Thai icon.
Bangkok Wild Watch 2026
We’re all a little mad at nature right now. It’s time to reconnect. Go wild for a day at Bangkok Wild Watch 2026, a gathering focused on the city’s wildlife and urban biodiversity. Expect talks, activities and a closer look at the creatures and ecosystems sharing Bangkok with us—an antidote to the usual weekend mall crawl. The event runs from 10am to 6pm.
Dark October Gala
Arcadia, which recently took home the Best Theme Bar award at the BAD Awards, will be descending into Klub Kaos. Expect a dark alternative dance night of goth, industrial, and ’80s sounds. Doors open at 8pm.
Wine Down, Heels Up
Swap the bar stool for a pair of heels at Wine Down, Heels Up, a playful evening of dance, drinks and R&B. Hosted by FOIINOII, the 90-minute session starts at 8pm with an approachable heels class before opening up into freestyle and social dancing, soundtracked by R&B, house and pop. The Shed City Farmer Market
The Shed City Farmer Market, a two-day neighbourhood market is packed with local food, organic produce, home-baked goods, art and independent finds. There’s live music and DJs throughout, plus creative workshops; Saturday brings a 5:30pm live painting and artist talk, while Sunday gets into Thai craft sato with a tasting and discussion.

Take your Sunday workout somewhere a little more wild with Pilates with Preech’s Zen Safari, a mat-based session designed to get you moving, stretching and switching off. The event takes place on Oct 4 with sessions starting at 9am.
