17 things to do in Bangkok this weekend (Jul 9-12)
7 July, 2026 Bangkok time

We’re all a little wet and moldy. World Cup Fever has us in its grips. It’s hot. But Bangkok waits for no one, so let’s get started.

There are a few events of note for you film buffs out there. From a collection of classics and romcoms at the Skyline Film at River City—from The Princess Diaries to Sleepless in Seattle—to documentaries with FirstLight, it’s a good weekend to love film.

And, as ever, the music scene this weekend is very tight. There are DJs and shows at Dual, live shows at favorites like Melt Livehouse and Speakerbox, and there’s even a little pirate radio action on an actual boat.

Other than that, there are wine events, pool parties, hip-hop, craft beer, and more all coming your way.
