Here we go again. On the live music front, a huge shout out has to go to the folks at Melt Livehouse who have two notable shows at both of their locations this weekend. Also, women are taking over Bangkok Island and you’ll find a special encore performance from Nirvanna at the Rock Pub on Sunday.
But, it’s not all tunes. If you’re all about the cocktails, remember to check out Wynn and Nont in from the South at ABar and The Art of Mixology at the St. Regis Bar Bangkok. For food, you’ll find Chef Bank, Asado Argentino Pop-Up, and some coffee treats.
If wellness is more your thing, you’ve got a pilates and running festival, sound baths by the river, and The Commons Cloud 11 putting on their first Tai Chi club.

Skyline Film x Shanghai Mansion Bangkok
Starting at 6:30pm (doors open 5:30pm), Chungking Express will have a showing with Skyline Film — and where better than Shanghai Mansion Bangkok. Combine that neighborhood with that venue and that movie, and this is a proper show. More info here.
Lipta
Lipta will be playing at Melt Livehouse on Rama 4 for one night only. This local band has gathered quite the following. It’s B899 at the door but only B499 for the early birds for this show, starting at 7pm. More info here.
Le Freak at Revo
Revo Bangkok returns this weekend with Le Freak for a new residency, and on this night, starting at 10pm, they’ll be joined by Satomi, Foerderband, and Joe Cola on the decks for a little funk, disco, and house. More info here.

Girls On Deck
Bangkok’s favorite party island will see some female pirates taking over the boat. Bangkok Island will feature Jade, Berry Linn, Kanshirya, and Anchun from 6pm to midnight for an all-girl night. More info here.
Kamiko and Friends
Starting at 8pm, more than a half a dozen acts will be taking over the decks at The Warehouse Bangkok—a unique community space that has captured the neighborhood’s spirit. Kamiko will be joined by Nio as a special guest alongside five other back to back sets. More info here.
Wynn and Nont
ABar Rooftop welcomes the Southern Boys from Phuket for a guest shift: Wynn, co-owner of Dibuk House and Nont, bar manager of Kanya Bar. This party kicks off at 8:30pm at ABar high above the city. More info here.
Get Smokey at The Standard Grill
We set up for this one earlier this week when we announced the fresh revamp of Arowmkwan. Now, Chef Bank is taking his flavors for a two-day stint at The Standard Grill, with all the smoky Asian food you can imagine. More info here.

Blue Parrot has had some really cool events these days. This Saturday, hit this spot starting at 4pm for the Asado Argentino Pop-up for an authentic Argentine experience along with the usual food and fun you’ve come to expect from this spot. Space might be limited so book early. More info here.
Monkey & Macchiato
It’s an opening, so your guess is as good as ours. But, if you’re all about the beans, there’s a new spot in Sathorn for you. Monkey & Macchiato launches its first full operation, opening at 7:30am and with treats and more scheduled starting at 4pm. More info here.
Arcadia Live Grand Opening
If there’s a number one pick for all the geeks, wonks, and weirdos this weekend, it will have to be Arcadia’s Grand opening. This will be a banger. Expect BK favorite Bang Sue Electrix and Grave Train for tunes, comedy, magic, DJs, and host Gene Kasidit — all kicking off at 6pm and going late. More info here.

At the St. Regis Bar Bangkok, The Art of Mixology starts at 8pm featuring Bar Nayuta from Osaka for a one night guest shift. These takeovers from St. Regis Bar have been the talk of the mixology community, so this is one you definitely one to catch if you care about your cocktails. More info here.

If you enjoyed the show on Rama 4, maybe head down to the other location at Cloud 11 for a showing of Moderndog starting at 7pm. Proper live music is hard to come by on Sundays, but this spot is bringing some fun acts. More info here.
