New to the ground floor of Siam Discovery is a pop-up store of Porter by Yoshida Kaban, the Japanese brand known for its urban-rugged bags inspired by U.S. Air Force MA-1 flight jackets.
Given that this is their only dedicated store in Bangkok (we’ve been waiting faithfully for a brick-and-mortar, but nothing yet) men looking for a new look for the new year should come here.
The massively successful Tanker series comes in various forms, from messenger bag (B9,500) and backpack (B12,000) to briefcase (B11,000) and waist bag (yes, the fanny pack, B6,400).
The brand’s also seen collaborations with fashion bigwigs like Comme Des Garcons, Adidas Originals and JW Anderson. The pop-up goes beyond the bag, too, to include wallets and collectibles, like the Karimoku Be@rbrick x Porter Toy.
