Good news for foodies who want to get their hands dirty. Ecole Ducasse - Nai Lert Bangkok Studio opened in December, a new venue combining a training center for both professionals and hobbyists—and a brand new cafe open to the public.

A project from French chef and entrepreneur Alain Ducasse, Bangkok foodies will know Ducasse already from his riverside Blue by Alaine Ducasse and his celebrity chef plaudits.

A press release from the organization said the professional teams at Ecole Ducasse will feature Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, world champions, renowned chefs, and hospitality experts.

Visitors will find a chocolate and ice-cream lab, wine cellar, and an event room, and the space will offer practical and academic courses. Offerings feature a four-hour class on childhood desserts, a class on brunch or bistro cuisine, and an immersive full-time ten-week course on culinary essentials.

Also open is the Ecole Ducasse Cafe on the ground floor, serving French breakfast created by the chefs of École Ducasse, open daily from 7am to 6pm.
