After reviving Angelini Restaurant and Bar (Shangri-La Hotel, Charoenkrung, 02-236-7777) at the end of last year, Chef Ugoletti is introducing some new dishes playing with a Tuscany theme. Jun 29 will see a wine dinner (B2,800 for five courses with booze, from 6:30-10:30pm) with an emphasis on fresh produce in dishes like homemade buckwheat tagliatelle with caper berries, Sabina olives and marjoram and grilled rack of lamb served with red cabbage and caramelised shallots. Meanwhile the a la carte menu will run until Jul 13. Try lobster bisque with roast scallop (B280) and beef sirloin steak (B860) and homemade pappardelle with wild boar sauce (B520).
