Tiny Cup Cafe

Run by the people behind the cutesy cafe Buttercup, Tiny Cup Cafe has made itself at home in Thonglor with its vintage vibe adorned with knickknacks and wooden furniture covered with retro pattern cushions. The food spans recommended fare like the full English breakfast (B380), featuring Joe Sloane’s sausages, cheese omelette (B200) and egg and chorizo (B170), while desserts like the raspberry tart are probably worth the calories.

Mr. Bean

For those who love a gimmick to go with their cup of joe, there’s new cafe Mr. Bean. The key to finding the place is spotting a big cut-out of Mr. Bean acting cool next to his Mini car. Once you enter, you’ll be surrounded with British icons like a red telephone booth and bus and, of course, lots of teddy bears. Sip on coffee (from B75) and munch on egg-y dishes like the GB egg white omelet (B145) and Mr. Bean’s benedict (B225).

Happiness Premium Sweets & Bar

With its gray walls and naked hanging light bulbs, Happiness Premium Sweets & Bar ticks all the industrial boxes for a new cafe in Bangkok. The kitchen, though, run by a Japanese chef, adds a few Japanese touches to the food, like green tea and red bean pancake joining more expected items like French toast with bacon and cheese (B240) and salted caramel banana pancake (B220).

The Library (Closed)

Even though The Library is not one those trendy cafes popping up in town, this restaurant, run by Water Library, is offering lots of breakfast dishes in their menu, and at very reasonable prices. This eatery is more modern, with the result being food that's extremely comforting, as you'd expect from the reliable mother branches. Egg-y dishes include the eggs benedict crab cake (B210) and brioche French toast with chocolate ganache (B220).
