Chef Prin Polsuk of Samrub Samrub Thai will host a special one-night dinner at Phuket luxury beachfront resort Trisara on Aug 13 (Mother’s Day weekend). As to be expected, Prin is going deep into the ancient recipe books for this one, focusing on Rama IV-era inspirations that are nearly a century old. The menu will set you back B3,500 (B4,900 with alcohol), and will be filled with hyper-local ingredients from Prin’s trusted suppliers as per normal.

Samrub Samrub Thai was recently awarded the 31st spot on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and ranked 75th on the World’s 50 Best’s top 100 list.

If you want the full luxury experience, Trisara is offering room discounts specifically for the event: from B14,000-18,000 per night for ocean view rooms and pool villas, with breakfast, airport transfers, and discounts on food.

Trisara is the home of Pru, the only Michelin-starred restaurant in the southern part of Thailand. This dinner is part of their “Trisara Culinary Series”, which in the past hosted names like Potato Head, 28 Hong Kong Street, Suhring, or Le Du in the past.
