Currently in their soft opening, a new Isaan food space, Isaa Isan, is bringing the heat and the love of the north to Phrom Phong with classic dishes.

Found at the front of Baan Suan Petch Condo, the new space features the food of the Vilailak “Miss Sa” Namkoke, hailing from Surin. Veering into the trend of elevating Isaan food, this new spot brings style to these beloved dishes hoping to redefine the cuisine.

If you’re wondering what to expect, long-time dining fans in Bangkok and beyond will know the affiliated Baan Ying restaurants around the city, currently with eight locations—along with associated brands like the Fatt Chicken, Enoch Teo, Oranuch, and Cosmos Cafe.

On the menu, you can look forward to a wide variety of somtum and spicy salad to set your meal off right. Dig into your traditional somtum (B85) or try something a little more adventurous like the lotus stem salad with shrimp (B180) or the somtum with blue swimming crab (B250).

For something spicier, there’s a rare chance at a yumra with salmon sashimi in spicy dressing (B330), and if you’re in the mood for something heartier, they have a selection of mains from the grilled pork shoulder salad (B135) to the grilled beef (B550) along with more than a dozen skewers.

Isaan food never stopped being the next big thing, and Isaa Isan is here for it.
