One of our favorite online bakeries has opened as a healthy cafe at Mercury Ville mall. Owned by a few vegan activists, Veganerie is very strict about using dairy-free and egg-free products.
And you know what? It’s pretty darn good, particularly the carrot cake (B85 or B450 for a pound) or chocolate chip soft baked cookie (B45), and they use less sugar to boot.
Gluten-free products, such as the strawberry and kiwi shortcake, are also available.
