While the design is clean and minimal the mood is definitely warm and convivial which can really make you feel like you're at home at The Apartment. The food is equally focused on comfort but executed to the very highest standards. Try the global tapas menu, were you can dine on dishes inspired from around the world globe such as Mediterranean octopus, a cheese platter and Oriental beef carpaccio. The global journey continues with mains like the confit of duck (served with potato wedges, apple, cherry, tomatoes and plum chutney, tenderloin with wild mushroom (on a bed of mash and sauteed spinach served with mushroom red wine sauce), and sesame soy salmon (served with sauteed bak choy and steamed rice with Oriental sauce). To finish the Eton mess (broken crisp meringue with strawberry, whipped cream and coulis) is to die for.
