The buzz: A movie theater back in the 80s, it has now been transformed into an enormous entertainment complex. Capable of holding 7,000 people in its five different entertainment zones, this venue aims to be an alternative destination for the night crawlers of Petchburi. They certainly look to cover all the bases. As well as catering to the nightlife scene, Petburi35 a.k.a P35, will also offer F&B classes and modeling courses.
The décor: P35 falls under the F. Lounge banner so expect funky chic décor and a fashion loving crowd. Within the next few months the venue will open a total of five different zones: a New York nightclub, an underground hip hop club, a chill-out lounge, an event hall and an after hours spot. For now, you’ll just find the New York club, an 850 sq.m. area at the center of the complex which holds up to 800 people. Equipped with two stages, a DJ booth and four VIP sections, it’s decorated in warm and welcoming colors. The hip hop club will focus solely on underground hip hop and holds up to 250 people. For a change of atmosphere, head to the outdoor chill-out lounge, where you can also grab something to eat. The 5,000-people-capacity event hall will be used for live concerts and, of course, the after hours place will take you through to the wee hours of the morning.
The music: Hip hop and electro at the NY club depending on the day. Hip hop, lounge, house and live music in the other zones.
The crowd: From RCA teeny-boppers to sophisticated and
affluent professionals.
