Phrom Phong has no shortage of hi-so spots to grab a bit of a bite and a view of the skyline, and this new space — just a few steps from the BTS — is hitting Bangkok with the spirit of Miami.
Found on the 32th floor of the Skyview Hotel and opening late last month, the new space is the new form of the previous Mojjo Rooftop Bar, and this new iteration is concentrating on the flavors from Latin America and the vibes of Miami.
Visitors can expect an open charcoal grill, handcrafted cocktails, and the music will follow the Miami theme with Latin rhythms and Afro beats.
The venue features two different experiences, split up into Lucero and Luna. Lucero is an intimate cocktail lounge while Luna is the open-air rooftop terrace overlooking Bangkok's skyline.
The menu draws from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Cuba, and Colombia, all coming from Chef de Cuisine Omar Konateh. Expect signatures like the Gambas al Ajillo, the cheesy Provoleta con Panceta Ahumada, and their grilled octopus taco.
Already this space has brought in some fun guest shifts and tunes, so keep abreast of events on their social media. For the vibe and for the ‘gram, this will be a good weekend spot to grab for both sundowners and late night drinks.
