For this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, along with mooncakes, has a meaningful and artful way to support the community.
Featuring fiery artwork, the Kimpton Signature Mooncake Box comes in a horseshoe silhouette, symbolising fortune and strength in Chinese culture. Crafted with matte leather in a captivating colour palette, the box is finely crafted and durable, making it ideal for repurposing after the festival. Inside are four mooncakes, selected from five available flavours that offer playful twists on the classics: durian with melon seed and egg yolk; custard; caramel latte and almond; sesame chocolate mochi; and savoury chicken floss with chilli paste.
In collaboration with Artstory by Autistic Thai, the featured artwork was created by autistic artist Anusone “Mix” Tunarin. Artstory by Autistic Thai supports people with autism through artistic development and sustainable employment; a portion of the proceeds from each box sold will go towards supporting Artstory’s mission.
The collection is available for early-bird pre-order at B1,800 net per box from now until 31 August 2026, followed by the regular price of B1,888 net per box from 1 to 25 September 2026.
