It’s been a long time coming, and today is the day. Emsphere is finally open. The massive mall in Phrom Phong cost a whopping B15 billion and boasts more than 200,000 square meters of restaurants, cafes, shopping, furniture, and lifestyle gear. Here are the ones you need to know about today. 

Panetti Pizza Club

Bangkok’s authentic Italian pizzeria from the team behind Peppina is on the ground floor of Emsphere. Their Italy-imported state of the art oven serves up artisanal pizzas made from locally and ethically sourced ingredients. If you’re visiting soon, don’t miss their seasonal toppings like spicy Yunnan sausage and homemade Nam Prik Noom sauce. 

Pastaioli 

Still on the ground floor, Emsphere welcomes this new homemade pasta joint. There isn’t much info about the spot yet as this will be Pastaioli’s first ever branch in Bangkok. Might be a great time to venture out and render the verdict yourself.

Brassica 

Brassica has made a name for itself in Bangkok with their combo of fried chicken and daily made doughnuts. Don’t over order; there are some real gut-busters on this menu. Crafted by Singaporean chef Cong Wen, their doughnuts are famous for the fluffy texture and generous fillings. Their crunchy chicken is marinated with more than 18 spices.

Bianca Italian Restaurant 

This authentic Italian eatery presents classic dishes with a modern spin. Their lineup has no shortage of finely curated cold cuts and a selection of 50 Italian cheeses. Find go-to orders such as fresh pasta and homemade pizza here.

Babycakes

If you’re on social media, you’ve probably seen the Insta-ready treats from Babycakes. Standing out with their customizable decor, their famous chocolate cake makes it a repeated order for all types of celebrations.

Thong Smith 

Craving some boat noodles? Thong Smith’s Emsphere spot adds an extra something with the newly implemented hot pot station, still serving up their flavourful beef broth and premium slices of meat imported from Australia and Japan.

Yuzu Suki  

With ingredients sent straight from Japan, Yuzu Suki offers five soup options—sukiyaki, dashi, tonkotsu, dashi tofu, and mala—paired with premium pork and beef of choice. Also available are some karaoke, side vegetables, and a la carte dishes.

26 Braised Beef Yih Sahp Luhk

This Chinese-Hong Kong blend is a spin-off project run by the son of legendary Nai Soie beef noodle shop. Already inducted into the Michelin guide, their highlight is the garlic rice braised beef topped with cured yolk.

Bread Street Kitchen By Gordon Ramsay 

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will be opening two restaurants in Emsphere—and a lot more in Thailand in the future. Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is providing fans with a taste of English cuisine such as beef Wellington, roasted cod, and fish and chips. 

Street Pizza By Gordon Ramsay 

Flipping the concept of pizzeria on its head, this Gordon Ramsay junction is serving up experimental sourdough slices and other finger licking treats like hot wings and dirty fries. A selection of cooling cocktails and craft beers is also in store. 

Shake Shack

To celebrate their second branch in Bangkok, the New York burger spot Shake Shack is presenting a brand new dish: introducing the crunchy paprika infused chicken bites served with barbeque and honey mustard sauce. The burger and shake masters only opened their first shop in Bangkok earlier this year. 

Oh My God Mother

This new venture from Iberry group is a mix of Korean, Italian, and French cuisine. Founder Atchara “Pla” Burarak revealed on social media that the inspiration came while traveling in Vietnam. Pop in for some wild fusion treats. 

Ohkajhu Wrap and Roll

This organic farm to table restaurant has come out with a “wrap and roll” concept store with over eighty variations of veggies and homemade salad dressings to choose from. Get your greens in here!

Pipatchara 

Having debuted multiple collections at Dubai Fashion Week, the sustainable fashion brand Pipatchara will be launching its first official storefront, lining up their shelves with leather bags and one-of-a-kind upcycled pieces. 

Vinn Patararin

Cop Troye Sivan and Timmothee Chalamet’s iconic look from the brand’s viral tank top. In addition to their visually striking clothes, Vinn Patararin Emsphere is stepping up their game with two zones: an exhibition slash workshop space and a cafe. Their perfume sachet collection will also be launching here first.

Deus Ex Machina

This Australian street brand originated in the early 2000s and initially began selling customizable motorcycles. Now the brand is more synonymous with lifestyle items. From surfing to skateboarding, Deus Ex Machina provides some cool gear for all types of outdoor activities.

National Geographic

You know National Geographic as a magazine, TV station, and production company covering nature, science, culture and history. But this is their lifestyle brand. Nat Geo is coming to Bangkok with collectible-quality clothing and gadgets for braving the wilderness.

United Colors of Benetton

The 90s hit Italian brand is having a comeback with the nostalgia craze. Introducing itself back to the Thai market, the contemporary concept is all about signature prints and vibrant colors.

Club 21

The Singaporean born retail luxury company will be experimenting with this multi-label store. This specific branch compiles fashionista’s favorite niche labels such as Fear of God Essentials, Team Wang Design, Andersson Bell, Rest and Recreation, and AECA.

Ikea

It’s the big one. We’ve all been waiting for this. Taking the winning title as the largest Ikea in Bangkok, the entire third floor of Emsphere, spanning 15,000 square meters, will be dedicated to its furniture showroom, a market hall, and self-service bistro filled with the familiar Ikea meatballs and pasta bolognese.
