The vintage enthusiasts behind popup market staple Cheap and Cheerful have brought a dose of Charoenkrung hipster chic to Ladprao.
Method to My Madness has grown from a vintage store to a bar and has plans for more to come. Ferns hang from the roof over an outdoor bar, familiar-face DJs spin Britpop/rock and guests drink Singha beer (B110).
Ladies can hunt out ‘70s floral dresses on the second floor as their guy digs around downstairs for deadstock denim jackets which the owner carries back from where he traveled to.
As for food, the solid bites include the MMM Munchy Burger (B250), spaghetti Bolognese (B180) and classic Thai-style fried chicken with pandanus leaves (B120).
The space is open for events, too, with the occasional film screening and live band dropping by—expect to see some popup markets, music theme parties and talks in the future.
