Performing for only the second time in Bangkok, The Weeknd will be returning to the city for a one-night-only show as part of the "After Hours Til Dawn Tour" on October 11.
This will mark eight years since the performer’s last show in the Big Mango, all party of the “After Hours Till Dawn” tour.
The star’s Asian leg of the tour will feature two-night shows in Singapore, Seoul, and Hong Kong before the final show in Kuala Lumpur.
Rumors began to swirl that the star would be returning to Bangkok last week with a tease from Live Nation Tero, and yesterday the scuttlebutt was confirmed.
The Canadian singer-songwriter has broken records the world over, and has released six studio albums, garnering four Grammys and an Academy Award nomination for “Earned It”. The tunes “Blinding Light”, “Starboy”, and “Die for You” have been the modern soundtrack of our age.
The Bangkok show will be held at Rajamangala Stadium, and The Weeknd will be joined by Creepy Nuts out of Japan, DJ Matsunaga, and R-Shitei.
Tickets will officially go on presale on May 18. Visit Live Nation Tero for more information.
