18 things to do in Bangkok this weekend (Oct 8-11)
By BK Staff
6 October, 2026 Bangkok time

Just being honest here: There’s a chance the weather could really screw up your weekend again because the weather is a jerk. But, we’re not going to let that stop us.

Obviously, the big music event this weekend is, well, the Weeknd, playing the first show on Sunday and continuing for two more days. But you’ll also find local shows at Blueprint Livehouse and Mr. Fox Livehouse.

For foodies, keep your eye on Igniv for a special menu, or head down to Gigi Asoke for a bit of pizza.

Beyond that, we have taichi, art, running, heavy metal, DJs, takeovers, and more. Plan ahead and be safe. Remember: The weather is not the boss of us.

Things get heavier on Oct 8, 2026, when British death-metal legends Carcass hit Bangkok. Expect riffs, blast beats and absolutely zero interest in keeping the volume down. The show takes place at Mr. Fox Live House, making this one for anyone who likes their Thursday nights loud, dark and very, very heavy.

For something a little more cultural, hit up One Bangkok this weekend, “Fortune Teller” is an open space for exploration inspired by the Yijing (Book of Changes) and world philosophies, the exhibition brings symbolic eyes to life as nature spirits linked to eight elemental forces: Water, Fire, Sky, Earth, Thunder, Shadow, Light, and Green Leaf.
