The weather is getting hotter, the rains are getting closer, and the second week of March is upon us. It won’t be long before Songkran is here.
Bangkok’s got you covered with new, returning, and novel events throughout the weekend. First off, St Patrick’s Day isn’t until the 17th, but Bangkok isn’t much for waiting, and there are a few parties here to get you started.
For music fans, you’ve got house, funk, rock, and everything in between at the city’s favorite music venues—from Jam and Speakerbox for those who like it local, to clubbing at Mustache. Don’t forget to check out Cloud 11 for a music market if you want to really get involved in the scene.
Beyond that, there’s a showing of Notting Hill at Kromo, an improv comedy death match, and brunches and dinners galore.
