Set down a small alley near Khao San, the tiny and grungy eatery Mini Dish is dedicated to American fast food.

Take a seat at the slender bar and tuck into a beef burger with mushroom cream sauce (B200), pork burger with ham, egg and pineapple (B180) or hot dog (B60).

Besides the regular beers, they sometimes have a brief list of classic cocktails such as Tequila Sunrise if you're lucky enough to visit on the right day. On the house, too, if you're really lucky.
