The buzz: A group of seven friends started Lure in hopes of creating a bar to resemble your best friend’s living room. It gives off a very laid-back, homey and girly vibe. There isn’t a waiter or waitress in sight. The friends manage themselves taking orders and serving customers.
The décor: You can either cuddle and gossip with your girlies on comfy pillows or relax on couches with a cup of tea (or a martini) in hand. The classy shades of gold and bronze are contrasted with white and green walls vintage-design wallpaper and cushions to make a neat combination. With just six tables inside, the place is fairly small but could be ideal for a private get-together. It’s usually brightly lit during the early evenings, to cater to those grabbing dinner. But as 8pm rolls around, the bright lights are dimmed and little candles are placed all around. Just like at a friend’s hangout, a deck of cards and classic board games are always at hand. If you’re a smoker or just someone who enjoys fresh air, they also have outside seating overlooking the garden.
The music: Soothing Thai and English tunes. In fact, they’ll probably play whatever you request.
The crowd: The owners’ friends and friends of friends who enjoy evenings after work catching up on the latest goss.

Why you’ll come back: Don’t know about the men, but the place will surely strike a good chord with the ladies, especially when their soon-to-come dessert menu becomes a reality.
