Their 20-seat teppanyaki counter takes center stage: It fills the cozy space (outfitted with modern dark wood furnishings and colorful pop art) almost completely. When the place gets really busy, diners (a good mix of locals and expats who live at the area’s many condos) grab a seat at one of their alfresco tables. The menu has a decidedly East-meets-West flavor, with Fukuoka specialty Tonpei Yaki ($22.90) — savory cabbage pancake — sharing the menu with tapas items like squid with pesto ($12.90).
