Housed in a three-storey 1930s Shanghai mansion decorated with early 20th century antiques, this restaurant serves modern-looking but no doubt authentic Shanghainese fare—everything from the crystal shrimp with fresh peas, drunken chicken and tea-smoked eggs to the xiaolongbao and Shanghainese-styled smoked fish, is succulent and delicate.
