This club has reached legendary status: in the guidebooks it comes right after the Oriental Hotel as one of Bangkok’s “must see” institutions. The space age nightclub is divided into two sides—the restaurant, which serves delicious and creative fusion food, and the club side, which gets people shaking their booties with everything from pumping house to hip hop and d’n’b beats, depending on the theme of the night. Should you suddenly be overcome by fatigue, just plop down on the spacious beds lining the walls before partying on freshly invigorated.

The venue: We’ve been calling Bed’s all-white minimalist décor “futuristic” for so long we’re starting to worry the future may never come. In the spacecraft, choose between a lounging/dining area and the club.

Why hot: The spaceship design itself, of course, plus the monthly lineup, which sees world-class artists man the decks.

The guys: White men in their 30s or luk kreung who speak really crap Thai. Either way, they just want to have fun.

The girls: Models and tourists who are pretty hot too. Again, you won’t have to meet the parents before they accept that last drink at your place.

Come here to pick up: A one night stand. At best, the relationship will last 72 hours but that’s long enough to get invited to a few nice restaurants and maybe throw in a bit of shopping. And did we mention sex?
