Located on the fifth floor of the Gateway Ekamai mall, Snow Town is set to open on Jul 1 and claims to be the largest indoor snow shopping mall in Southeast Asia covering an area of over 3,000 square meters.
As part of the complex, you can expect a long list of restaurants from Hokkaido, such as Steak no Don, Aji No Tokeidai and Hanabatake Bokujo alongside shops and attractions.
The artificial snow is said to be 30-40cm deep, allowing such activities as skiing (apparently lessons will be offered), snowboarding and snowball fights. Other promised attraction include an igloo-like Kamakura snow house and Oekaki interactive zone.
