Over four years after Suvarnabhumi Airport opened we can now celebrate having a means of getting there without having to rely on crazy taxi drivers. After a couple of months of trials, the State Railway of Thailand officially opens the new airport link on Aug 23. With trains running 24 hours a day, a journey time from the Bangkok City Air Terminal at Makkasan to the airport of just 18 minutes and a cost of B150 for a ticket this should be a real benefit to busy travelers.
