Royal Lancaster London won Hotel of the Year at the 2026 Hotel Magazine Awards, and now the luxury spot in London’s Hyde Park has garnered yet another major plaudit. The property’s most recent landmark achievement is being named No.1 Hotel in the UK, No.2 Hotel in Europe, and No.4 Hotel in the World at the Tripadvisor 2026 Travellers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Hotels.
This new accolade places the Royal Lancaster London, which features 411 guest rooms and suites, among the world’s finest properties. Overlooking Hyde Park and independently Thai-owned, the hotel achieved the highest ranking of any UK hotel based on guest reviews over the last year.
For the worldwide rankings, Royal Lancaster London was only beaten by G.H. Universal Hotel in Bandung, Hotel Colline de France in Gramado, and Hotel Sporting Family Hospitality in Livigno.
With a philosophy of "We Always Care", the Royal Lancaster London was also recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work earlier this year, highlighting its people-first business culture.
