The fourth edition of the Columbia Trail Masters takes place at Horseshoe Point in Pattaya this coming Sunday, Jan 13, welcoming participants in three distances of trail running: 21.5 km off-road half-marathon, 10km trail run and 4km fun run. For the uninitiated, trail running is running or hiking over marked trails that often traverse mountainous terrain. Entry fee is B1,200; apply online at www.ama-events.com or 02-718-9581/2. If this is too soon for you (or not challenging enough), just wait for the River Kwai Trophy Triathlon 2013, which will happen in Kanchanaburi on Mar 3.
