Campari’s annual Negroni Week returns Sep 22–28, but Bangkok will get a head start this year with a guest that is sure to turn some heads. This year’s campaign opens with a rare appearance by Simone Caporale, the renowned bartender and co-founder of SIPS in Barcelona, who has appeared on the The World’s 50 Best Bars list five times, arriving ahead of the event’s launch.
Caporale lands in Bangkok ahead of the official kickoff to lead an industry training session, “The Craft Behind the Bar,” on Sep 22 at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok. The afternoon session focuses on hospitality technique, cocktail design, and Campari’s role in modern mixology. That evening, he will headline the Negroni Week Opening Night at Caleō, where Bangkok drinkers can experience his award-winning style and signature cocktails firsthand.

Negroni Week 2025 will feature more than 200 participating bars worldwide, including over 40 guest shift venues across Thailand. As always, proceeds support Slow Food, an international organization promoting food culture, sustainability, and equity across the hospitality industry.
This year, Campari is expanding its commitment to education and exchange within the bartending community. And Caporale won’t be the only big name flying in. Following Negroni Week, more international bartenders are scheduled to appear for a series of guest shifts in Thailand. More on that soon.
It’s going to be a big month for Bangkok’s cocktail scene.
