There’s a lot to love about New Year’s Eve (the fireworks, the camaraderie, the celebrations) but there’s a lot to hate as well (the cabs, the hangovers, the price gouging). So, this year, we’ve split our big list of events up into three sections.
Whether you’re looking for a big meal and an early night or a wild night at the city’s first hyperclub, we’ve got you sorted.
You’ll find plenty of pool parties, countdowns, club nights, and buffets to keep you full, wasted, and entertained well into next year.
Before Midnight
No one cares about New Year’s Day. It’s a day for hangovers, so these events are for folks who want to get the celebrations started early before you start making inadvisable life choices. Dinner, class, and a full base for you to put down some serious booze.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet in the Spirit of a Carnival of Joy

At Panorama, get ready for a day full of balloons juggling and plenty of food to start off your New Year’s Eve. Expect a mix of fresh seafood, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese at this indulgent feast that will be fun for the whole family. More info here.
The Londoner Countdown to 2026

If you’re looking for somewhere you can do a whole day of drinking and eating, the Londoner Brewpub will have a family friendly day with happy hour all day long, complete with free flow prosecco and a special blue mussel and charcuterie board. More info here.
New Year’s Eve at Mia

For you foodies out there, Mia is on a roll with its menus. For the big night, they’ll be featuring a New Year’s Eve Menu for one night only, a big way to finish out the year for you fine diners out there. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Gala Buffet at Ventisi

If you’re looking for somewhere in the middle of the action, it’s hard to beat the Central World area. To get you started, at Ventisi, they have a buffet gala to stuff yourself with Thai, Italian, and everything in between starting at B2,999. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Dinner, Ojo on the 76th Floor, and Sky Beach Countdown

There’s a lot going on at The Standard this New Year. To start off, you’ve got The Standard Grill. They'll be putting on a three-course feast starting at 5:30pm. But, if you know The Standard, you know their venue has one of the best views in the city from Ojo, where you’ll get a Mexican feast on the 76th floor. The first seating is early, but the second will take you through midnight. Finally, there's the Sky Beach Countdown Party, where you can take the countdown to 2am. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner

If you’re looking to surf and turf your way into 2026, you’ve got everything from coconut octopus risotto to roasted prime rib down at InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit. The party starts fairly early at 7pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to hit your next party. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet at 57th Street

If you’re doing it right, it’ll likely be a night of rooftops, so keep yourself in the lobby for this early buffet at 57th Street on the lobby floor of Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit starting at 6pm. It’s a full buffet that’ll get you in the mood for a late night, priced at B3,390 per person. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner

For a fancy start to your NYE, starting at 7pm, Colonnade will be putting on a big gala dinner for B6,900 per person. Expect a sophisticated atmosphere, good wine, and good eats going until 11pm. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Gala by the River

The river is pretty magical for New Year’s Eve, and this week, you’ve got Praya Palazzo putting on a big Thai and Western food, Aperol Spritz, and plenty of music, beer, and wine. This one will be going until after midnight, but it starts at 6:30pm, so plenty of time to hit up this spot and then another. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Gala Buffet at Plate

Starting at 6:30pm, Plate at the Carlton is putting on a big buffet spread for you to stuff yourself before the night really begins. Starting at B2,999 per person, you’ll find something at this massive buffet for everyone.
A Grand New Year’s Eve

Roll into this one early at 6pm for a big evening of food before things switch into high gear. It’s found at the Chatrium Grand Bangkok, and you’ll find a full feast at Savio going until 9pm for B3,499 per person. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Sunset Sharing Set at K by Vicky Cheng

For you foodies out there, you already know K by Vicky Cheng. Well, this one’s for you, because this hot space is putting on an 11-course sharing menu for you and your crew, starting at 5:30pm and at B2,080 per person. More info here.
River Carnival of Lights

Everyone wants to be by the riverside in Bangkok for New Year, and Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort is ready. Starting at 6pm, there will be a carnival atmosphere and plenty to eat and drink as you ring in the New Year at the Sala Longkor and Longtain River Bar & Lounge. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet in the Spirit of a Carnival of Joy

In the mood for a New Year feast? Well, at Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park they’re going all out. Whether you’re going for surf or turf, this huge buffet will have clowns, balloons, juggling acts, and events for the whole family starting at 6:30pm and going until 10pm. More info here.
Ebbe Chef’s Counter

Ebbe is the hot new modern Nordic restaurant with Thai fare everyone is talking about. For New Year’s Eve check out their Chef’s Counter with Chef Ebbe Vollmer on the ground floor of Erawan Bangkok. This is a great spot not just for the food, but because this is one of the hottest areas in Bangkok for the New Year festivities. More info here.
For Midnight
Some folks like the magic of the countdown, and while you can get that all over the city from the river to Sukhumvit, some places are a little more special than others (and involve fewer angry strangers). These parties are for those who are out for the spectacle.
Swing Into 2026 at Topgolf Megacity: Bangkok’s Hottest Countdown Party Where Every Swing Shines

You’ve got food, you’ve got drinks. But where’s the golf? Topgolf Megacity, that’s where. If you want to do something different this New Year’s Eve, starting at 9pm and going late, this venue will have unlimited, a buffet, DJs, fireworks, and different zones for every type of celebration. This will be a big one, so be sure to book soon—especially for the Pink Giraffe Countdown Party. More info here.
Namsu NYE Karaoke Countdown

Namsu has been the big name on the nightlife scene this year, and they’re going full karaoke for NYE. The party starts at 6pm and goes until 1:30am, filled with plenty of singing, DJs, food, and booze. More info here.
Zuk Bar - Countdown Party

From 9pm to 1am, the plush Sukhothai Hotel’s Zuk Bar will be featuring DJs and handcrafted cocktails for a countdown to 2026. This midtown spot is a good one if you plan to visit a lot of spots in the area. More info here.
Skyfall Soiree

The end of 2025 has all of us both shaken and stirred, but starting at 9pm, the classic Oskar Bistro will be putting on a party for all the 007 fans out there. You don’t have a license to kill but you do have a license to drink until late in your sharpest fit. More info here.
Chit Chaat New Year’s Eve

You might have noticed this is the new Indian spot on the scene, and they’re going all out for New Year’s Eve. This venue has the music front and central and you can expect unlimited bites, DJs, and over a dozen dishes fueling your evening. More info here.
Countdown at Colette

Take the last few moments of 2025 with the celebrations at Colette, one of Bangkok’s hottest new bars, featuring both a New Year’s Eve dinner with a set sharing menu and a wild countdown party. The sharing dinner is priced at B15,000 per table of five, and the Colette Bar Countdown Package, which happens on KROMO’s 28th floor featuring sets from Kidmassive and DJ UFO to go with your premium spirits and a charcuterie board, opens the rooftop at 11pm. Mimi’s Glitter Riot Countdown Party

Mimi has had good parties all year long, and you can expect nothing less on this night, featuring a countdown party with a DJ and those city views. They’re going for glittering, so break out that sequined fit. It starts at 8pm and will be going to 1am. More info here.
The Techno Countdown

Okay club kids, this is another one for you—and it’s a doozy. You’ve got two stages and a swimming pool to go along with the fireworks, a party organized by Mustache and Rave Times. This one kicks off early at 3pm, so go expecting to party for a long time. More info here.
New Year’s Eve Pop-Jazz Countdown at The Living Room

Starting at 8pm, this will be a classy countdown to remember, with Thailand’s expert saxophonist Koh Mr. Saxman, complete with a night that mixes style with electric tunes, also featuring DJ Masaomi Fukurono to go with your champagne and caviar. More info here.
The Grand Countdown Celebration with Fireworks over the Chao Phraya River

Kicking off at 7pm, the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Bangkok is sending out 2025 with a big riverside party across three venues: Feast, Giorgio’s, and Thara Thong. At all of them you’ll find a huge feast to go with full-night open bar drinks. Expect dance shows, magic shows, cabaret, and live DJs. More info here.
New Year’s Eve at Bar Sathorn and the Countdown Party at W Bangkok

This is really two very different events all rolled into one very cool spot. Bar Sathorn has a free flow package where you can spend your last few minutes of 2025 in style and comfort with plenty of booze on hand. Outside is a big countdown party for W Bangkok, featuring DJ Roberto, liver performances, bar snacks, and beverages. Both these events kick off at 9pm. More info here and here.
Electric Carnival: Sky-High Countdown

On the 32nd floor at Sato San Rooftop Bar, running from 7pm-1am, this spot is putting on an Electric Carnival complete with DJs, dance shows, lucky draws, and plenty more to go with the LED wild energy they’ll be bringing. You can expect packages to include bites and free flow drinks and all-inclusive options, as well as a private zone with premium food and beverages. More info here.
Masquerade New Year’s Eve 2025

There’s more than one masquerade ball in Bangkok for New Year’s Eve—because this is Bangkok and we don’t play. This one is going to be at the plush Banyan Tree Bangkok, featuring treats at Vertigo, Saffron Cruise and Apsara Cruise, and Bai Yun. You could probably spend all day (and next year) at this one spot. More info here.
ICONSIAM New Year Countdown

Well, you already knew this was happening. This is not the sort of event that needs to be sold. It’s iconic. This year will be "Amazing Thailand Countdown 2026" under the theme "A Global Phenomenal Celebration at the Icon Unrivalled". Fireworks, drone shows, music—the whole city will be watching. New Year Après-Ski Countdown

The St. Regis Bar is going for an Après-Ski atmosphere, a little style, a little festival. Expect good drinks and a great view for the new year, starting at 9pm and going to well after midnight. More info here.
Rock into 2026

Skip the expensive bottles and head to The Mesh for some live music, where—yes, you’ll have Lobster Thermidor, blue crab, shrimp, oysters, and a sashimi corner—you’ll sing in 2026 with The Chocolate Cosmos live band, who will be playing as the clock strikes 12 and well after. More info here.
New Year’s Eve at Nobu

New Year's Eve at Nobu? Yup. The party starts at 8pm and will go through the fireworks and straight by midnight. Nobu Bangkok, which burst onto the scene last year, will be putting on an amazing spread on the 57th and 58th floor. More info here.
Sky-High Countdown Party and Golden Masquerade Soirée at Amari Bangkok

Okay, there’s a lot going on here. So let’s just get to it. First off is the Golden Hour New Year’s Eve Buffet, then there’s the Sky-High Countdown Party on the 32nd floor for B4,000. Finally, you’ve got the Golden Masquerade Soirée with free-flow drinks and jazz. More info here.
The White Horizon, New Year’s Eve Rooftop Party

Le Du Kaan is going big with a New Year’s Eve White Party. You know what to expect: skylines, Thai food, good drinks, but you’ll also get live music and dance performances. And, of course, don’t forget to dress in white. At the time of writing, you’ve still got time for the early bird tickets. More info here.
Cowboy Spirits & Midnight Cheers

Why be by the river when you can be on the river? Historic boat, DJs, food, booze—it’s got it all. You set sail at 6pm and the party goes until well after midnight. It’s not the only boat party for the evening, but it’ll be fairly family friendly and a great spot for the fireworks. More info here.
Anju Countdown Party

This one goes late until 2am. Anju is a sweet spot on the Bangkok nightlife scene. It’s both intimate and cool. Grab a big VIP table or go solo—whatever you pick, there will be plenty of drinks flowing until late. Expect Executive Sous Chef YoungDae Shim serving up a special Han Sang Korean Platter. New Year’s Eve at Charcoal

With both veggie and non-veggie options, Charcoal is a bit middle of the road in that they’re great for eating and a place to party—so you can expect a little entertainment at the very least. This one is going past midnight, but is not really a late night affair, so perfect for folks wanting good food, a little to drink, and a countdown. More info here.
After Midnight
For you, NYE is just another night to party. And party you shall. These events are for the club kids, the bar flies, and the perennially soused who know that a calendar is not the boss of them.
New Year’s Eve Party with Carnival

You know Havana has something going on for this night—and it’s all night. This is a spot you can post up for the whole shebang. Starting at 6pm, you can expect this club to go late, and they’ll be featuring live music from the Asoke Latino Band and tunes from DJ Pepe to go along with the Dance Queens. More info here.
The Midnight Masquerade

Apt 101 is going a little mysterious with a masquerade party on the big night. This venue doesn’t do things by half measures. This is another one of those sundown-until-2026 affairs, kicking off the cocktails at 6pm and going late. More info here.
Go, Glow, Glam: Bangkok’s Ultimate 360 Degree Rooftop Countdown

You know we love Paradise Lost—BK Magazine even had our BAD Awards there. The Go, Glow, Glam party kicks off at 8pm and will go late in this venue, featuring incredibly cool design to go with the views and drinks as you check out the fireworks from every direction. Christmas Eve at FVTURE

Look, it’s the biggest club opening of the year—by far. It’s Bangkok’s first hyperclub, and while we don’t know much about it yet, we know this one will be a party. Head here for their first ever countdown, featuring Marten Hørger, SLVR, Sam Collins, and more. More info here.
NYE Boat Party

Other boat parties might be for families and food. This one’s for partying. Going until 1am, hop on the boat at 8pm, take off at 9pm and stay on the river for four hours—all the way through midnight. It’s Bangkok Island, so you know there will be good music and booze. More info here.
Mykonos White Party

Drink and dine all night at this party going late at Aesops. You can kick things off with a four-course Mediterranean dinner, cocktails, and a free glass of sparkling for the big moment. This is a great pick because you can go for the food, the party, or both. More info here.
Countdown at the 41st

Bar.Yard will be the place to be seen this New Year, but this is the rooftop with a rooftop, so there’s also the Countdown at the 41st (B6,990), complete with one of the best firework views in the downtown area to mix with your free-flow beer, spirits, wine, and champagne. More info here.
NYE Countdown Gathering

Gaysorn Urban Resort will turn into a three-room party for a night of tunes and partying with Elif out of Turkey headlining. But this is a big party. Literally. It will be happening across three rooms, all with a different vibe. More info here.
Another World: NYE Rooftop Gathering

Well, you know all eyes will be on Mad Stash for a party this weekend and it’s happening at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit. It’s got it all, a rooftop, skyline, international DJs, and performances. Everyone’s looking for a rooftop this weekend, but we know Mad Stash brings the noise.
New Year’s Eve Pool Party at FLOW

Fireworks, live music, DJs, and games—it’s all on at FLOW for this New Year’s Eve. There aren’t a lot of pool parties going on this New Year, but this will be the one to beat. The pool will stay open until 11pm, which will give you plenty of time to dry off and ring in the new year on the 7th floor. More info here.
Primal Roar Countdown Party

Going late until 2am, this party at A Bar will feature DJ Louis X and DJ Groove. Expect a raucous party, but don’t count out the food. There are tables for small and big parties, so get in early. More info here.
New Year’s Eve at Pastel

This one goes for a full 11 hours, from 5pm to 4am. Pastel knows how to party and this time they’re going for the full Gatsby vibe. You’ve got early dinner, regular dinner, and a party going well into the night. Expect live dance, live music, and heavy firework action. More info here.
