17 things to do in Bangkok this weekend (Oct 9-12)
8 October, 2025 Bangkok time

Thankfully, another long weekend is upon us—and it’s about time. Well, every weekend is a long weekend when you’re hungover. But, this is both a good and a bad thing. Sure, we don’t have to work, but a lot of places are closed for a little hiatus this weekend. Never fear, BK is here. And we’ve got plenty to do.

First off, this is a big weekend for live music. Sure, Mariah is coming just in time for the most intolerable people you know to talk about Christmas, but, because Rolling Loud have decided to be jerks, we’ve also got some Asia hip-hop events this weekend from Skai Isyourgod out of China and Loco out of South Korea.

On the food front, there are some pretty creative options from a wine dinner at Jampa to making your own food down at Gigi.

Thu

'Dream!' Screening

Paul and Nuy of the Friese-Greene Club made a movie. Now’s your chance to show some love to the people who have kept this city’s film scene cool. Away from the backstreet soi favorite and on to the big screen, there will be a showing at a Major Cineplex starting at 5pm. More info here, Major Cineplex - Ekkamai

Baia Bangkok Grand Opening
