Spotify today unveiled its "free" ad-supported version for users on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. Previously, the free-to-use product was available only on PCs, with its mobile application restricted to paying subscribers.
While all smartphone users can now create their own playlists and enjoy music on-the-go, there's a catch—they are limited to shuffle mode, leaving plenty of additional features still reserved for its premium users.
