Spotify has just launched an app on their desktop platform that marries music with recipes. The app aims to allow users to try out recipes that are specially recommended by celebrity chefs, such as Willin Low of Wild Rocket, while listening to the chefs' music picks.

You can choose from a range of illustrated dishes, with useful details like the recipe's perceived difficulty and any other information necessary to make the dish yourself, from the ingredients and step-by-step instructions, to tips on how to serve it. Two playlists are provided (one for while you cook and the other for chowing the food down to).

At the moment, there's a limited number of recipes, but it does well in terms of variety.
