Five of Bangkok’s top restaurants are joining hands for the second time with a full-on dinner set made for two people, delivered to you this Sep 4-5.

555, the name of the collab, features five dishes from five restaurants and five six chefs, including Garima Arora (Gaa), David Hartwig and Arne Riehn (Igniv), Dan Bark (Cadence), Deepanker Khosla (Haoma), and Chalee Kader (Wana Yook).

For this weekend affair, the menu (B4,500/two people) is a mish-mash of unique flavors and stellar touches that you would usually only experience at their respective establishments.

The meal starts with a snack from Gaa: lychee sake paired with uni chili toast, smoked chicken buckwheat paniyaram with pickles, and guava leather chaat.

After that comes a homemade bread and butter set from Riehn followed by starters including hamachi with red beets, snow peas and jalapeno, and a bao bun with barbecued pork from the Igniv duo.

The mid-course sees Bark reliving one of his most well-known dishes, the earthy and elegant Roots and Truffles, while the main course comes courtesy of Haoma chef Khosla.

For this dinner set, he is preparing dal batti chokha with haleem, a rural Indian specialty from the chef’s hometown province made of slow-cooked yellow arhar lentils with coriander roots and tomatoes, served with smoked eggplant that has been cured with mustard seed oil and fenugreek, as well as stuffed dumplings and a relish of pulled chicken as a side.

Dessert comes from Kader in the form of his Wana Yook signature, piak poon, a layered dessert made with rice flour, palm sugar, and pandan, topped with a dusting of burnt coconut husk and a wafer-thin meringue.

Wines are also on the menu. These have been curated by Fin Wines to match the menu. Bottle selections include a sparkling Brut Rose Reserve (B1,870) from Austria; Pouilly Fume Florilege (B1,790), a sauvignon blanc with notes of citrus fruit and a peppery edge from Loire, France; and Crozes Hermitage Le Rouvre (B2,390), a syrah with hints of berries and a touch of spiced cake from Rhone, France.

You also have the option to buy a wine pairing (B5,355) that features a mix of three bottles, or you can opt for the Premium selection (B7,855) featuring champagne, a riesling, and a French red.

Orders can be made via Line at @ignivbangkok or by telephone at 02-207-7822 until Sep 1.
