If you work in the food and booze industry, you’ll want to be at the {Re} Food Forum this Mar 19-20, when 40 food industry leaders from around the world will be giving talks on food waste and sustainability.

Behind the discussion are Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava and Dylan Jones, the owners Bo.lan (pictured above), the Bangkok restaurant blazing the way towards zero-waste dining, and journalist and food event organizer Leisa Tyler.

The two-day event's topics include Dan Hunter, of Australian restaurant Brae, discussing the reality of a restaurant producing its own food; while Titti Qvarnström of Sweden’s Bloom in the Park talks about rediscovering a nation’s culinary heritage. The full program is available here.

Even if you don’t work in F&B, you’ll also want to be there because lunch is served up by Those Fcuking Chefs—a local dream team whose members include chef Van of Rarb, chef Black of Blackitch and chef Napol from 80/20—who’ll be doing a feast on Monday made up of weekend brunch leftovers.

Tickets, available here, include lunch and refreshments, and are B1,700 per person for the one-day pass, and B3,000 for both days.

{Re} is a non-profit event run by the Thai foundation BioThai that takes place at The Residence, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok on Mar 19-20. Any profits will be donated to sustainable agricultural projects in Southeast Asia.
