Yoogane

A stir-fried chicken specialist for fans of Korean TV series.

Korean TV series fanatics have a new spot to congregate. Made popular by series like It's OK That's Love and Oh My Ghost, Yoogane is a dakgalbi (stir-fried chicken) chain that originated in 1981 in Busan, South Korea, which now has more than 100 branches in eight countries.

Like at Dak Galbi, raw ingredients are served to your table in a large hot pan, which goes over a table-top electric stove, and you can choose whether you want to cook them yourself or let the staff do the heavy lifting.

The star dish here is the cheese chicken galbi (marinated chicken in sauce stir-fried with leeks, onion, rice cakes and sweet potato with mozzarella cheese melted on the outer ring of the pan, B750 for medium only). Other choices of protein and sauces range from B320 for small to B930 for large. Additional toppings like noodles and rice cakes can be added for B60-120.

Other options include fried rice (B220/S-B610/L) and side dishes like Korean seafood pancake (B300).
