BANGKOK RESTAURANT

Vivin

Grab some groceries and a meal at Vivin’s “grocerant” project.

Years after making its name at farmers’ markets, supplying restaurants, and appearing in top luxury malls, Bangkok’s foie gras and charcuterie specialist has gone full “grocerant.”

Vivin, the producer known for its locally made and premium artisanal products, now boasts more than just groceries at its Ekkamai headquarters. Inside a deli-like space, surrounded by fridges and shelves stocked with Thai cheese, cold cuts, sauces, wines, and more, you’ll now find a handful of tables catering to dine-in guests.

Expect dishes like the Chiang Mai goat cheese omelet (B290), free range egg curry with Kampot pepper (B195 half/B350 full), and duck confit with mash of the day and seasonal veggies (B380). Wrap it up with a slice of Tropezienne tart (B180 slice/B1,200 full) with wine by the glass (B220), Castown soda (B80), or a Thai craft beer (B160/bottle).
