After all the happening bars and food trucks, it's about time Suan Phlu welcomed a decent cafe.
Run by an ex-True Coffee barista and another coffee-loving friend, Cafe Neighbor puts the focus on local beans from Doi Chang, Pha Ee, Nan and Laos' Bolaven Plateau, with an espresso setting you back B50.
Other drinks include hot chocolate (B60), matcha latte (B80) and frappes (B80-100); they recommend the rose-water latte (B80/90) and cookies and cream frappe (B90).
Among the homemade baked treats, we like the soft, mildly-sweet banana cake (B50).
