After months and months of hype and excitement, it's almost time for It's the Ship, the 4,000-person party cruise from Singapore to Langkawi, taking place Nov 20-23. And if three days of partying isn't enough for you, there's a warm-up happening at Zouk's Velvet Underground in a couple weeks.
With the nightlife stalwart moving to Clarke Quay next year (and, much more surprisingly, changing ownership to Genting Group soon), we'll take any chance we can get to party at the soon-to-be-old Jiak Kim Road location.
The It's the Ship Pre-Departure Party is taking place Nov 19 and is open to everyone who has bought cabins for the cruise. This closed door event will feature Australia’s electronic music duo, Peking Duk, Zouk’s resident DJ Zushan and DJ Jade Rasif, a sneak preview of what’s to come on the floating music festival.
Don't worry. It's not too late to buy a spot on the cruise (and the Nov 19 party as a result), where you'll also see Dutch electronic music DJs, Thomas Newson and Marco V. Prices start at $688 per person for a four-person cabin and includes room and board, room service and entry to parties.
