After five years of the Past, Present, Future cocktail concepts, Thonglor’s speakeasy bar that’s not so softly spoken, Find the Locker Room, has finally launched a cocktail menu under a new Time Capsule theme.

Time Capsule Volume 1 is inspired by the 60s-80s and is separated into three categories: fashion, toys, and music.

If you’re an inexperienced drinker, go for the Strawberry Fields (Monkey 47 Dry Gin, raspberry liqueur, fermented sour milk, cranberry, peach shrub, tomato jam, saline, black pepper, angostura bitter, tomato cream jelly, B490). Inspired by the eponymous Beatles song about the Liverpudlian orphanage in which John Lennon sought peace, the drink is sweet and comforting—just like the lyrics.

On the fashion side, if you’re after something fun that keeps changing as you drink it, get the Who Wears Short Shorts (B460). The cocktail is separated into three colors: orange (Hendrick’s Gin, spiced pineapple, carrot, and lemon); green (Midori, sour apple liqueur, pandan, and mint); and red (Campari, watermelon, tomato, and tabasco). It is inspired by Mary Quant’s hot pants in the 70s that still set the tone for today’s fashion industry.

For something a little strong on the taste buds, grab the Magic F8 (B460). The strong Bacardi Reserva Ocho taste is smoothed over by the Chinese herbal grass tea, coconut and jasmine rice milk punch, and pandan jelly—all making for an unpredictable yet rounded drink not unlike an 80s Magic 8-Ball.

Find the Locker Room is a bar project by Ronnaporn “Neung” Kanivichaporn and Chennarong “Janz” Bhumichitr (founders of the late Backstage, now Mahaniyom) who joined forces with Hidetsugo Ueno from Bar High Five in Tokyo, Colin Chia from Nutmeg & Clove, and World Class Cocktail Competition 2016 third place winner Nick Wu from East End in Taipei. They're joined by Ping Chareonsri, previously head bartender at Washington DC’s Nopa.
