Song Terbsiri took the helm at Capella Bangkok’s Stella in January. While minding the bar, he has been whipping up a new cocktail menu, and it’s finally ready.

The previous menu was about women warriors of the past, and keeping with that theme, the new menu is all about talented female alcohol professionals who made an impact on the industry around the world. There are four incredible women on this menu, each has three cocktails.

The menu features names like Joy Perrine who broke convention to become one of America’s foremost bourbon specialists. She co-wrote “The Kentucky Bourbon Cocktail Book” and helped pave the way for women in the American bar scene. Cocktails made with premium bourbon were her specialty. So, expect to drink hefty bourbon cocktails like the Manhattan Club (Michter’s Rye, house blend vermouth, cherry brandy, Lanna longan, American oak tincture, and aromatic bitters, B520).

Or, there’s the Rita Hayworth, the American actress whose real name was Margarita Cansino. She is believed to have been the inspiration behind the margarita at the Foreign Club in Tijuana in Mexico, where a barman was intoxicated by her beauty and decided to name this refreshing classic after her. Try the classic Mexican Paloma that’s twisted into an aperitif, Mi Angel (Altos Blanco, grapefruit sherbet, Mancino Secco, Campari, citric and malic acid solution, Palo Santo, and Perrier grapefruit, B480).
