Yet more bars are set to open soon and this time, they follow in the footsteps of their well-known flagships.

Saint Monica, the short-lived replacement of Boat Quay’s Spiffy Dapper, will soon give way to another new bar: Kacang Putih. Located in the same shophouse space,  it'll retain the same dive bar vibes of Spiffy Dapper and the craft cocktails will still be shaken in a dim and artistically haphazard, uninhibited environment. And yes, they'll be selling the famed street food snack, kacang putih.

Meanwhile, refined cocktail bar and cafe Maison Ikkoku has plans to open a new bar called Fort by Maison Ikkoku. While we don't really know much else other than it's slated for a May opening, bartender Ethan Leslie Leong has hinted it’ll be located at "a mountain near you". No points for guessing where it will be.
